Artificial Intelligence and Human Dignity

In an age where technology advances faster than wisdom, we are once again reminded that human dignity takes precedence. The Catholic Church has always addressed transformations at their beginning, before they reshape society. This was true in the encyclical Rerum Novarum by Pope Leo XIII, and it is precisely what Pope Leo XIV is doing now. He is addressing the pressing questions of our time: AI, truth, and moral responsibility. Looking forward to Magnifica Humanitas , which will hopefully shed light on this topic and reaffirm the same fundamental truth that the Church has held for decades: technology should serve humanity, never replace it.

Unjust wars

Oh, people, you desecrate the most sacred name to justify your wars. When will you repent? God commands peace. God commands love. It is you who have brought these wars upon yourselves. “Put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.” (Matthew 26:52)

Israeli Authorities Block Cardinal Pizzaballa from Celebrating Mass on Palm Sunday

I express my profound sorrow to the Christians in Jerusalem who could not celebrate Mass on the special occasion of Palm Sunday today, and I strongly condemn Israel's actions in blocking Cardinal Pizzaballa from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate Holy Mass.

The American Invasion of Venezuela

The United States of America invaded the sovereign country of Venezuela and overtook a democratically elected government. This unprovoked act of neocolonialism should be condemned.

Unity in Defending the Faith

How wonderful it is to stand together as humans, unified yet diverse, with all our strength, and fight for the truth in Christ and with Christ. Unfortunately, the world today has lost this sense of zeal.

Minneapolis Shooting

As Christians, it is our moral duty to proclaim the truth without reservation. We cannot witness what happened today in Minneapolis and remain silent. Let us pray for all the victims and for everyone who was terrorised in this atrocious and barbaric attack.

Israeli Bombardment of Holy Family Church in Gaza

Let us offer our prayers for the martyrs who died in the Israeli bombardment of the Catholic parish in Gaza. Let us also pray for the parish priest’s speedy recovery. 🙏
