How wonderful it is to stand together as humans, unified yet diverse, with all our strength, and fight for the truth in Christ and with Christ. Unfortunately, the world today has lost this sense of zeal.
As Christians, it is our moral duty to proclaim the truth without reservation. We cannot witness what happened today in Minneapolis and remain silent. Let us pray for all the victims and for everyone who was terrorised in this atrocious and barbaric attack.
Let us offer our prayers for the martyrs who died in the Israeli bombardment of the Catholic parish in Gaza. Let us also pray for the parish priest’s speedy recovery. 🙏
Jesus, I trust in You. How humble and beautiful these words are. Let us always keep them in our prayers, remembering that even Jesus, on the Mount of Olives, prayed: “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
On this Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, let us pray that our hearts may become like His, free from sin and in perfect union with God. As today's Gospel reminds us, even one repentant sinner brings rejoicing in heaven.
